A vegetarian mom with a quirky, artsy personality. I play a little piano, make jewelry and paint when the mood strikes. Things I love: Antiques, art, music, comedy, reading, friends, family, writing poetry, cupcakes, video games, anything sparkly or kawaii, cats, The color pink, R2D2, Victorian houses, photography, bunnies, butterflies, rain, maneki neko, and a properly made frappuccino. First published in Player’s Club Programme in 1926, this illustration by artist Wladyslaw Theodore Benda shows a young woman in a Medieval headpiece. The image was done in charcoal and watercolor. Polish-born Benda lived from 1873 to 1948 and worked as a graphic artist with his illustrations appearing in advertising, books and magazines.
